Grades and Extra Credit Exam

Final Grades will be ready on Monday, July 1st in the morning. A chart will be posted outside teacher´s office. You can pick up your homwork too.

The Extra-credit exam will take place on Wednesday, July 3rd, classroom IF-1, 10:00AM

if you have a final grade between 5.0 and 5.9, you are elligible to take the exam

The "My First Dictionary Project" hand in date has been changed to Wednesday, June 26, same time (everyone).


The Final Oral Exam for the last part of the group who were scheduled for Friday, June 21 has been rescheduled to Thursday, June 27.

Schedule for Second Task and Dictionary Project

For the Second Task, attendance is mandatory (everyone has to be present to listen to their classmates in regular class time (10:00 to 12:00).

We will go on reverse order, Jocelyn Marina is number 1 (and so on) and Oswaldo will be number 29.

The dates include are: Monday 10, Tuesday 11 and Thursday 13

I will bring the laptop and projector to class, you have to bring your Power Point Presentation in a pendrive.

My First Dictionary Project

My First Dictionay Project

1. From the list of verbs, maake a dictionary with the following features:

     i. make an entry for each verb
     ii. each entry has to include:
          the spelling (base form),
          past form,
          past participle,
          phonetic transcription,
          the meaning in English (Spanish optional),
          a drawing or picture,
          an example of the verb in a sentence. 
     iii. it has to be presented in alphabetical order
     iv. there will be an oral defense on Friday, June 14, from 10-12
     v. due date: Friday, July 14 (when you come for the oral defense, you will hand in your dictionary)
     vi.  the dictionary should be hand-written
